She helped me quite a bit, was super flexible and even got my clothes cleaned and ironed by her maid - she did not have to. I have to say this was one of my most comfortable airbnb experiences.

It's got TWO great refrigerator unit, and a microwave. It's got a snack shop just 1 min walk from home and it opens until 2am or sth. We booked last minute with her, as another host we booked before had cancelled on us. We booked at arrival at Changi airport, about 45 minutes before arrival in Lavender street and she offered us a choice between a super single room or a loft bed room. Her instructions were flawless and the location of the unit is superb. Very close to Lavender MRT and very close to many 24-hours hawker centres with great and affordable food, as well as a 24-hours
supermarket. The unit and room are great too! The unit comes with code lock for the front door, security cameras for your safety as well as your belongings, 3 toilet/showers with heater (nice hot shower!), a washing machine and dryer, a kitchenette and ironing board and iron. The room comes with a clothing cabinet with mirror on the door, a desk and chair, a mirror on the wall, a table with flatscreen TV (!) and a clean mini fridge (yeah!), and of course a loftbed. Something didn't go completely right, as we only had one mattress, one bed sheet and one blanket, but what matters more is the way that a host resolves issues that you might come across as a guest. This really shows how professional they are and how much they value you as a guest. With the mattress changed and one more added, the stay with Joey is just perfect. Never got to meet the host but reply via whatspp was within 1-2 mins.
Lost my key and host was kind to waive the $120 fee and unlock for me, but that's because the cleaner was still at the apartment.
Location of this room is good as it's just 3-4 mins walk to MRT and 1-2 stations to city centre.
Interesting neighbourhood with both tourists and local folks. Lovely mix of people that u can talk to or stay quiet by yourself.
There's two wifi networks for me to access so no issue with connectivity. 24hrs massage parlours nearby for u if u are keen. :P

Everything is clean and checkin is via door code anytime for my convenience. Was lucky and allowed a late checkout 6pm due to a late flight.

Air conditioning unit was very strong, which was much needed for the nights as it was unseasonably warm during my visit. The check-in/out directions from the host were very clear and convenient, and all host communications were professional and prompt. Even though there were ~6 others living in the apartment, the place was always very quiet, and I never had to queue for the toilets or laundry. Location was also very convenient, less than a 5 minute walk from an MRT station with easy access to the airport, as well as the rest of the island. I would like to note that the &kitchen& mentioned in the listing is really just a hot plate, toaster oven, and electric kettle at the back of the apartment, so don't expect to be able to easily prepare or cook any but the simplest of meals. Recommended location !Kaisheng<span data-reactid="-02-11T00:00:00ZWe booked at Joey's apartments last March, a week before we flew in. Since we would like to give as fair as a review as we can, we've noted the pros and cons below:
Pros - near the Lavander MRT & FairPrice (around 5mins walk) - near hawker centers, the nearest one is about 1 min walk - near bus stops to the city and to the north. took us 5mins to walk to either stops - the check in went well. Joey left the key for us so even if our flight was delayed and came in 11pm, we were able to check in to our room without any fuss - Joey was easy to contact and replied fast in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) - the staff changed the mattress and all the covers asap when we complained that they might have bed bugs since we got bites the night before. - they provided towels and a roll of tissue paper for use. there was also a table and a cabinet but we couldn't use these as much since the walkway space was too small.
Cons: - Cleanliness. the bathrooms weren't cleaned regularly and there weren't any trash cans so we had to keep everything in our room and throw it out the next day.
- We were prepared for a windowless room since we wanted a queen-sized bed but the room was too small even for 2 small luggages that we couldn't really walk around inside the room anymore.
- the walls were thin so we could hear the guys next door. I kept waking up when someone had to close their door and go to the bathroom - there's no place to keep your luggage in case you need to leave these due to late flights. - we were asked by the staff to take out the bed covers and pillow cases even before the check out time which we found very odd since they should be doing this after we left.
Overall, the place is bearable for an overnight stay for 2 small girls but not really recommended for families or for longer stays.

We booked last minute with her, as another host we booked before had cancelled on us. We booked at arrival at Changi airport, about 45 minutes before arrival in Lavender street and she offered us a choice between a super single room or a loft bed room. Her instructions were flawless and the location of the unit is superb. Very close to Lavender MRT and very close to many 24-hours hawker centres with great and affordable food, as well as a 24-hours
supermarket. The unit and room are great too! The unit comes with code lock for the front door, security cameras for your safety as well as your belongings, 3 toilet/showers with heater (nice hot shower!), a washing machine and dryer, a kitchenette and ironing board and iron. The room comes with a clothing cabinet with mirror on the door, a desk and chair, a mirror on the wall, a table with flatscreen TV (!) and a clean mini fridge (yeah!), and of course a loftbed. Something didn't go completely right, as we only had one mattress, one bed sheet and one blanket, but what matters more is the way that a host resolves issues that you might come across as a guest. This really shows how professional they are and how much they value you as a guest. With the mattress changed and one more added, the stay with Joey is just perfect. Location of this room is good as it's just 3-4 mins walk to MRT and 1-2 stations to city centre.
Interesting neighbourhood with both tourists and local folks. Lovely mix of people that u can talk to or stay quiet by yourself.
There's two wifi networks for me to access so no issue with connectivity. 24hrs massage parlours nearby for u if u are keen. :P

Air conditioning unit was very strong, which was much needed for the nights as it was unseasonably warm during my visit. The check-in/out directions from the host were very clear and convenient, and all host communications were professional and prompt. Even though there were ~6 others living in the apartment, the place was always very quiet, and I never had to queue for the toilets or laundry. Location was also very convenient, less than a 5 minute walk from an MRT station with easy access to the airport, as well as the rest of the island. I would like to note that the &kitchen& mentioned in the listing is really just a hot plate, toaster oven, and electric kettle at the back of the apartment, so don't expect to be able to easily prepare or cook any but the simplest of meals. Not really a problem, though, as there are a wealth of Singapore's hallmark hawker centres and eating houses within walking distance, or you can hop on the train or bus to reach other excellent dining options, at any price point, in as little as 20 minutes.Lim<span data-reactid="-07-30T00:00:00ZPros - Good value for the price. Recommended location !Kaisheng<span data-reactid="-02-11T00:00:00ZWe booked at Joey's apartments last March, a week before we flew in. Since we would like to give as fair as a review as we can, we've noted the pros and cons below:
Pros - near the Lavander MRT & FairPrice (around 5mins walk) - near hawker centers, the nearest one is about 1 min walk - near bus stops to the city and to the north. took us 5mins to walk to either stops - the check in went well. Joey left the key for us so even if our flight was delayed and came in 11pm, we were able to check in to our room without any fuss - Joey was easy to contact and replied fast in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) - the staff changed the mattress and all the covers asap when we complained that they might have bed bugs since we got bites the night before. - they provided towels and a roll of tissue paper for use. there was also a table and a cabinet but we couldn't use these as much since the walkway space was too small.
Cons: - Cleanliness. the bathrooms weren't cleaned regularly and there weren't any trash cans so we had to keep everything in our room and throw it out the next day.
- We were prepared for a windowless room since we wanted a queen-sized bed but the room was too small even for 2 small luggages that we couldn't really walk around inside the room anymore.
- the walls were thin so we could hear the guys next door. I kept waking up when someone had to close their door and go to the bathroom - there's no place to keep your luggage in case you need to leave these due to late flights. - we were asked by the staff to take out the bed covers and pillow cases even before the check out time which we found very odd since they should be doing this after we left.
Overall, the place is bearable for an overnight stay for 2 small girls but not really recommended for families or for longer stays.

Cons: The kitchen only has one plate and no cutlery. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Loud garbage truck comes at 7 AM every morning.
