如题。托福没考好，只有93分，收到NYU来信如下。大家说这事儿成数有多大？有参加过的童鞋么？
Thank you for your interest in XXX.&&After a careful review ofyour application, the Admissions Committee believes that your academic historyand professional experience show that you have significant promise.&&However,your personal statement and/or your TOEFL indicate that your English-languageskills may not yet be sufficient for you to succeed in this program—a programthat demands the highest levels of language fluency.
Prior to a final review of yourapplication, we request that you take an on-line English language placementtest administered by NYU's American Language Institute (ALI). Part of the testrequires you to participate in an Internet-based interview with a member of theALI faculty.&&The test and interview, which are free of charge, will beused to determine your level of English language proficiency. Based on theresults of your test and interview the Admissions Committee will make adecision on your graduate application and advise you of next steps.&&
There are four possible outcomes withregard to your admission to the program you have applied for:
You satisfyNYU-SCPS’ English Proficiency Level (EPL) requirement and qualify to registerfor full-time degree study.
You are conditionallyadmitted and permitted to do some part-time degree coursework as you completethe required amount of ALI English language coursework.
You are conditionallyadmitted and invited to take English language courses with NYU-SCPS’ ALI full-time(for up to one full year) until you are fluent enough to begin degree study.

I personally don't recommend you go for SCPS lar. It is good.. but good for people who are already working there and want to recharge..
