Review and process subion applications
Maintain financial books and records and reconcile bank accounts
Allocate income to partners in accordance with terms of partnership agreements
Prepare and issue quarterly financial statements, in accordance with US GAAP or IFRS
Assist with year-end financial reporting and audit
Prepare and distribute partner capital statements
Calculate and process capital calls and distributions
Interact with clients and counter-parties including auditors and tax representatives and provide information as needed
Handle ad-hoc assignments

B.S. in Accounting or related discipline
Minimum 1 year experience in Accounting or Finance with good understanding of financial statements.
Strong knowledge of Excel preferred.
Individual must display initiative and the ability to work independently.
Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are also a must.

　　可以显而易见的注意到，fund accountant的工作侧重于会计方面的核算，而operations analyst的工作更侧重于协助fund accountant做好准备工作。
　　就我在基金管理行业中工作的四年时间里而言，我所看到的是越来越明确的职责分工。如果说11年的时候基金会计在进行会计核算的同时还要兼顾operations analyst的工作进行一般的cash/interest/dividend reconciliations的话，15年的基金会计和operations analyst已经有非常明确的不同职责了。这样分流的最大好处就是，相对简单的operations analyst的工作可以转移到费用相对便宜的海外国家，比如新加坡，加拿大等，从而减少公司的运营开支。
　　最后说一说基金会计的难易程度。这个工作肯定没有前台交易难，但是也需要应聘者有基本的会计知识和对冲基金知识。当然啦，想要完全胜任肯定需要经过专门的培训，公司都会提供的。除此之外，细心，耐心，以及熟练运用excel也是非常重要的职业需求。
