The Internship Program offers students the opportunity to experience a real-life work environment at GE supply chain, while developing the professional skills critical to a successful career.The best interns will have the opportunity to participate in the selection of the Operations Management Leadership Program (OMLP) that will start in 2018.The internship assignment offers:o Challenging work assignments in GE’s manufacturing plants o Project based experience, formal goal-setting and appraisal processeso Multiple resources: manager, mentor, buddy, etc.o Networking and social activitieso Rewards and recognition based on performanceEssential ResponsibilitiesFinish a 2 months’ assignment in one manufacturing plant Meet the evaluation criteria in the assignment teamComplete required internship trainings defined in the programPresent the mid/final report-out upon completion of the assignmentQualifications/Requirementso Graduate in 2018, BS/MS d degrees in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Thermal Energy, Aeronautical, Control, Bio-medical, Chemical, Material, Safety Engineering (EHS-track)o with a minimum GPA requirement (3.0/4.0);o proven examples from school and prior work experienceo
